Bytča on the wide Stredovážske podolie. In the 19th century the town had leather and match factories and mills. Its woodworking industry was especially important. The red-brick factory building in the suburb to the right is the sawmill depicted on the next item (4.13). The inscription probably refers to Hrabové village on the opposite site of the Váh.
